Ambush Family Branches vol 4: Carasel MC, Stanza, AMC and Murdock

This is quality drum and bass.

The mix starts as it means to go on, hard, fast and technically mixed. It is split up into three parts, one for each of the DJs. They have 20 minutes each in which they fit an astonishing amount of tunes. Stanza comes in first with a fine selection. He includes his anthem Colonel Vibenhoff as well as a crazy mix with TC’s Tap Ho and Icicle’s remix of Floating Point. AMC follows next and has to be highlighted here. His section had us in awe of his talent. At one point, there are three or four tunes seamlessly mixed together and EQ’d to perfection. Andy C watch out! The final third brings an international flavour from Belgium’s DJ Murdoch. He comes in with a rolling sound heavily influenced by Hospital Records. Music from Fred V & Grafix, Netsky and Camo & Krooked take us raving all the way to the end.

The mix is hosted by Ambush boss man, MC Carasel. He flows continuously for 60 minutes and drops fresh lyrics throughout. We may be a bit biased here but he is the best up and coming drum and bass MC in the UK right now. This mix proves his versatility across all styles of dnb.
